I was in Windermere at Beck's parents on New Year's Day, and the weather was atrocious. Driving back, there was a significant amount of standing water. The first one I hit was virtually invisible; it was very dark and unlit, and looked just like normal tarmac. Anyway, it did enough damage to the car that it's gone for repairs.
A Peugeot 107 is significantly smaller than a Vauxhall Zafira; although, there's a surprising amount of room inside.

Long Drive
Went to pick up the kids from their Dad's today; it was absolutely heaving it down on the motorway on the way down. It wasn't too bad on the way back; but, there was a fair bit of fog about.

Family
Beck's sister, Rachael, and her two kids, have been visiting recently. It was great having them over, and we're heading there this afternoon, before picking up our kids from their Dad on Saturday.

New Start
Well, my old host disappeared off the face of the earth, taking my blog with it. It left me thinking that this was the perfect opportunity to start again.
I think that 2015 is going to be an interesting year; especially if 2014 was anything to go by. The big highlight for me last year was obviously my wedding; although, I wasn't the only one of my friends to get married.

Welcome to the jungle...
I found a copy of my old MT blog...
Well, got bullied in to creating a Blog by Mojo, who didn't want to be the only person adjudged to be daft by his friends and peers. Hey, anything to help my insecure Southern friend...
Well, Easter wasn't the fun and games it could have been. Unfortunately, I had to work the entire weekend. Will get some time off this weekend, but unlikely to be able to get up to much... I'm slowly but surely learning to drive as well. My latest lesson introduced me to the wonders of clutch control and the fun to be had whilst attempting the classic change of direction known as a three-point turn.
