Chile 1 Switzerland 0

This game was decided after 75 minutes when Estaban Paredes beat the offside trap, rounded keeper Diego Benaglio and crossed for former Liverpool winger Mark Gonzalez to head home from four yards out.

Saudi official Khali Al Ghamdi was rather card-happy in this game and handed out 9 yellows and 1 red card. Valon Behrami was sent off after 30 minutes for an elbow on Arturo Vidal. It didn't look that bad at normal speed and even though the slow motion shows that he did raise his elbow there's no way he impacted with enough force to do any damage.
