The Champions League final kicks off in about 25 minutes. I will be cheering on Manchester United, who are attempting to retain the trophy, by beating FC Barcelona.

It didn't go the way I was hoping. United were really on the front foot for the first ten minutes or so. Samuel Eto'o scored for Barcelona with their first real attack; mainly thanks to some very poor defending. United were then woeful after that and when Lionel Messi scored a second for Barcelona on 70 minutes it was pretty much certain that the Catalan giants were going to claim an historic treble of La Liga, Kings Cup and Champions League.
