The Humble Mouse

That little white, or perhaps black/blue/pink, pointing device that is sat on your desk is 40 years old today. Dr Douglas Engelbart, of the Stanford Research Institute in California, first demonstrated using a mouse at the Fall Joint Computer Conference (FJCC) on 9th December 1968.
