By Reg Varney, who played happy-go-lucky London bus driver Stan Butler in 65 of the 74 episodes of the 1970s sitcom On The Buses died over the weekend. He also starred in the earlier series of The Rag Trade and Beggar My Neighbour as well as appearing in the three On The Buses spin-off movies. He was 92 and is survived by his daughter.
