Dad has had problems with his foot for quite a while now and has been waiting to go into hospital to get it sorted. Well, he was due to have an assessment with a nurse this morning before having a meeting with a surgeon tomorrow. Anyway, as a result of this morning's assessment, they have decided to admit him and operate. I was told that the original plan was to amputate his toes at the very least tomorrow. It now looks more than likely that he will be operated on this evening.
