Hamad Darwish is a Kuwaiti Radiographer, a photography hobbyist, and an adventure enthusiast. In 2005, Microsoft commissioned Hamad on a photo-shoot to take pictures to be used in the desktop wallpaper collection of Windows Vista. Microsoft selected two photographs for inclusion.

DualScreen Wallpaper is a site that may be of interest if you're one of the increasing number of people that use more than one monitor for your desktop display. The site features images in resolutions of 2560x1024, 1920x1600, 1680x1050, 1440x900 & 1280x800.

Mando Gomez is a Southern California resident who has been making desktops and taking photos for a long time. His website has a collection of images that are suitable for single, dual and multiple monitor displays.

Pixelgirl Presents is an award-winning site featuring Mac OS X, XP and Icontainer iconsets and desktop images as well as offering tutorials, articles and links. Resolutions range from 1024 x 768 upto 1920 x 1200 and they also offer a range of wallpapers suitable for the iPhone.

Social Wallpapering is a site that offer desktop wallpapers at a wide variety of resolutions, including images suitable for widescreen displays and also features images suitable for dual monitors.

deviantART is more than just a desktop wallpaper site. Founded by Scott Jarkoff, Angelo Sotira and Matt Stephens on August 7, 2000, deviantART is an online art community for artists and art lovers that just about everybody on the internet has probably come across or at least heard of.

Cheat Happens is a games cheat site that also features a rather good collection of game wallpapers.

Nintendo Life is one of the newer generation of fanboy and news sites that have popped up in the last few years and has a range of Nintendo related wallpapers in a variety of resolutions.

Graffiti Wallpaper was founded by Emma McCreary, who loves finding beautiful, striking imagery for her desktop and wanted to share the love. There are well over 200 wallpapers in Animal, Flowers & Plants, Landscape and Misc Wallpaper categories.

Mike Swanson is a Technical Evangelist working in Microsoft's Developer and Platform Evangelism organization, deeply involved with both MIX and PDC events. Mike has been creating desktop images since March 21, 2002 while on a Royal Caribbean cruise to Key West, Florida.
