Rude Awakening
After spending most of last night doing some work on a couple of websites that I am involved with, it was after 4:30am when I finally went to bed. Fully intending to stay in bed for as long as I could, I was rudely awakened at about 10am this morning by a couple of fighter jets screaming overhead.
The Lake District is an ideal location for the RAF to practice low-level flying and they normally take place in the valleys further to the east and south. We rarely hear them, except maybe in the distance if they get a bit closer. It must be well over a year since I can last remember any low-level drills taking place this far west of the mountains.
Anyway, I've spent most of my time this morning doing a bit more website work and am now going to take a break and watch some tv.

I am currently doing 3 websites. One is my own "for fun" one, one is for someone who is paying me, and the last one is for the domain that I have just purchased. :-)
Yeah
I have 3 on the go:
This one, which is pretty much stable and unlikely to feature anything more than the blog.
A Manchester United one that I'm converting from Frontpage to Movable Type for a mate. He was adamant that he didn't want to lose any content and so far I'm succeeding. I've had to make a few concessions to the design to accommodate what he wants and have ended up having to cheat a wee bit. MT, whilst allowing you to change styles doesn't let you have more than one style in any blog. To maintain the design of some pages with a thin, wide, thin layout and some pages with a thin, wide layout I've cheated and am basically using 2 blogs within the system with different layouts and both pointing to the same space. The twt pages are stored in one blog and the tw pages are stored in the other. This is what the old version looked like and this is what the redesign currently looks like.
The third is the frp club's site. I've just put together a quick holding page for the front page and have installed forums in the background; which is one of the things we'd talked about doing. The main site is here and the forums are here.
