Home Again

Back home and had a fun weekend.

Set off at 6:15am on Friday morning and got to Alley's about 12:45pm. Traffic wasn't too bad and managed to get all the way to Maidstone in Kent before having to fill up.

Spent most of Friday afternoon relaxing. Mojo arrived sometime after 7pm and other than having a couple of drinks not much was done on Friday evening beyond watching Scuzz and Kerrang.

Saturday morning was another period of relaxation before a trip into Canterbury in the afternoon; where I bought Ghostbusters I and II on DVD, Call Of Duty 3 and Lost Planet: Extreme Condition for the XBox 360, Dungeon Siege II Deluxe Edition for the PC and 3 books; including a biography of Julius Caeser. We had a barbecue on Saturday evening and I set about fulfilling the destiny of a bottle of Jack Daniels. Spent the rest of Saturday drinking and watching more Scuzz and Kerrang.

Sunday morning was yet another period of relaxation. Alley's wife; Talishia, cooked up another mean Sunday Dinner and in the afternoon whilst Alley and I went to pick up another friend Ziggy she baked a chocolate cake.

Mojo left just after 5pm and after watching more Scuzz and Kerrang we decided to watch a movie and ended up watching the excellent "Shaun Of The Dead". After taking Ziggy home it was time to call it a night.

Left Folkestone just after 10:15am this morning and got home just after 6:30pm. A bit of a longer journey than the trip down but I did stop for a coffee at about 1pm and some food at about 3pm. I also took the scenic route home through the Lake District towns of Heathwaite, Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere and Keswick, rather than just coming off the M6 onto the A66.

All in all an excellent weekend.
