By Just recently changed the processor in my PC.
Upgraded a friend's PC from an Athlon 3200+ to an Athlon 64 and pinched (or rather bought) his old processor off him and put it into my PC. XP didn't moan at all and although games ain't performing any differently it's a wee bit quicker encoding movies.
Anyway, gonna put my old 2800+ into my Dad's PC; after getting him a new motherboard and some decent RAM. Then gonna put his old Athlon 1.33, motherboard etc into my brother's PC. To be honest, sometimes I wish I hadn't got my brother a PC; he's clueless and I've had to sort things out on it at least 3 times in the month since he got it.
Why, oh why, do I pile crap upon crap upon myself? I have enough going on, especially the fact that I'm virtually in constant pain at the moment, without trying to sort out useless, unimportant, crap like this...
Sometimes I see why people take their own lives. My life's not that sucky, and I ain't gonna go down that road. But, I do understand!
Hmm, I wonder...
