By Drove down to Donnington on Sunday to watch the BTCC (Touring Cars). Was pretty much a good day; fine weather and some good racing. Saw 3 rounds of BTCC, a Seat race, a Renault Clio race, a Porsche Carrera race, a Formula Renault race (slighty smaller version of F1 or F3), and a drift/slide demonstration.
The day was slightly marred by an accident I had before I even set off for Donnington; went to Morrison's to check my tyre pressures and top up my petrol, and went over on my ankle. It hurt like hell for the rest of the day. I got up Monday morning and couldn't put any weight on it at all, and ended up phoning in sick for work. Feels a fair bit better now and will support my weight if Im' wearing shoes or trainers. In slippers it still hurts a fair bit.
Will be going back to Donnington in approximately 2 months for the 2005 Download Festival; which will include performances by Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Slayer, Lacuna Coil, Feeder, Garbage and Billy Idol.
