Nope, not a ploy at all, Gaz reported problems leaving comments and suggested I ask people to comment to try and determine if it was jusy him or a more widespread problem.
Oh, and incidentally, I've sorted out my links script. Or rather changed it to a different script.

It refused to let me leave a comment yesterday, or the day before, using either IE or Firefox. Its definitely working now though which is the main thing.
