Over the last 3 or 4 years I've treated myself to a christmas treat.
Last year I bought a Gamecube and some games for myself.
The year before I got myself a new DVD Player and quite a few DVDs.
The year before that I upgraded my PC, think I bought myself a new hard drive and graphics cards.
Anyway, this year I've been contemplating buying myself an XBox, but whenever I really thought about it I'd decided that having a PS2 and Gamecube to play if I get bored with my PC should be enough distraction. Truth be told I've used my Gamecube probably less than a dozen times since I bought it, and I've used my PS2 even less than that in the last year; my nephew uses the PS2 more than I do.
Anyway, all these facts persuaded me that buying another console that would just sit gathering dust wasn't the best use of my christmas finances. To that end I've gone and upgraded my PC again.
I've just bought a Leadtek Winfast A380TDH 256mb Geforce FX 5950 Ultra graphics card. Boy, is it nice. Might benchmark it later with Aquamark 3. In the meantime I'm having fun playing some games with it...
