Thought I'd killed my PC earlier...
Flashed my BIOS to v1006 from v1004 and rebooted. Went in to the BIOS to make sure things were set up right and when I saved settings it wouldn't boot.
Powering down, unplugging the PC, popping the battery out and resetting the CMOS allowed me back in to the BIOS. Set it all back up, rebooted and nothing... Went through the CMOS clear again and enabled the Post Reporter and it kept on coming up with a Memory Fail. Cleared the CMOS once more, went back in to the BIOS and set the memory timings to BY SPD rather than Auto. Rebooted and all is well.
Dunno why the new BIOS version would cause the PC to fail to boot with my memory set as 333mhz. Booting fine now at 400mhz, will have to see if it's gonna make any difference having the memory and bus running asynchronously, probably not; after all the memory is rated at 400mhz anyway. We shall see...
