Sunshine on a rainy, well actually sunny really, day..

No updates recently; I've been away for the weekend in Folkestone, visitng friends. Weather was excellent and as usual we consumed a fair bit of alcohol and demolished about half a freezer of various meat products on the barbecue.

I bought myself some new cds over the weekend; The Union Underground - An Education In Rebellion, Type O Negative - Life Is Killing Me, Rob Zombie - The Sinister Urge and Carina Round - The First Blood Mystery. I also purchased the 2nd and 3rd books of the Krondor series, The Assassins and Tears Of The Gods, by Ray Feist. And my latest DVD purchase is actually a concert; Queen - Live At Wembley 86; my first ever music DVD purchase.

I'm currently reading Merrick by Anne Rice, and will then go back to read The Vampire Armand which I've just realised I missed out... Still listening to Evanescence a lot but will probably find myself listening more and more to The Union Underground over the coming few days.

Spent most of Sunday just chilling out, with the GP on the tv, dunno who won or anything, wasn't paying much attention, but did notice the suicidal protestor who ran on to the track and started heading along one of the straights trying to stop cars doing about 150mph by waving literature at them.

Oh, and checked ADSL Guide this morning and my local exchange has hit the trigger level set by BT. So, sometime in the next 6 months or so we will be getting broadband in the area. Woohoo, about time...
